Job summary

National Association of Women in Construction seeks a Construction Manager - Chemical & Gas Systems in Boise, ID. Lead the PSSS mechanical team through preconstruction to commissioning for a large semiconductor project, onsite full time.

You will coordinate with design professionals, owners, subcontractors, and vendors, manage startup activities, ensure safety and quality, and drive on-schedule delivery while maintaining strong communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of mechanical construction experience.
• Experience in industrial/high-tech semiconductor projects preferred.
• Proficiency with construction drawings, design specs, and survey methods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily installation work of PSSS mechanical subcontractors to maintain schedule.
• Interpret construction docs and technical manuals for coordination.
• Lead startup coordination meetings with managers, designers, and owners.
• Coordinate system startups across multiple subs and project stakeholders.
• Verify startup docs, ensure equipment is ready and safe to energize.
• Coordinate MEP with civil/architectural elements and manage QA.
• Organize training for client personnel on operation and maintenance.
• Review submittals and RFIs, track changes and schedules.
• Assist with mechanical estimating, subcontractor buyout, and budgeting.
