Job summary

Cinder is seeking a Construction Manager - Chemical & Gas Systems to lead the PSSS mechanical construction team on a large semiconductor project in Boise, Idaho. You will oversee subcontractors, coordinate with design teams, owners, and vendors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule alignment from preconstruction through commissioning.

This on-site role requires a BS in a related field, at least five years of mechanical construction experience in industrial/high-tech settings, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of five years of mechanical construction experience.
• Experience on industrial/high-tech semiconductor projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and design documentation.
• Ability to read drawings and apply survey techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily installation work of mechanical subcontractors to maintain schedule and startup activities.
• Interpret construction documents and technical manuals for project compliance.
• Lead startup coordination meetings with teams, owners, and contractors.
• Coordinate startup activities between multiple subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Verify startup documentation and energization readiness.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and field change orders.
• Provide onsite technical guidance for mechanical construction issues.
