Job summary

OnQCx in Boise, Idaho seeks a Wet Mechanical Construction Manager to lead planning, coordination, and turnover of critical process utility systems on major semiconductor and manufacturing projects. You will work with General Contractors, design teams, vendors, and subcontractors to align scope, drawings, specifications, equipment needs, and project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8+ years installing and constructing wet mechanical systems on large industrial, semiconductor, manufacturing, or mission-critical projects.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specifications, and P&IDs.
• Strong scheduling, field coordination, and mechanical installation practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage wet mechanical scope from design through commissioning and turnover.
• Understand project requirements, drawings, specs, and schedule milestones.
• Coordinate with owners, contractors, vendors, engineers, and trades.
• Oversee procurement, fabrication, installation, testing, commissioning.
• Review drawings, specifications, and P&IDs for constructability.
• Facilitate coordination between Mechanical, Process, Electrical, Controls/I&C, and Commissioning.
• Monitor costs, schedules, labor productivity, and installation progress; mitigate risks.
• Lead weekly coordination meetings and provide status updates.
• Support startup, turnover docs, punch lists, commissioning readiness.
• Promote a strong safety culture on all field activities.
