Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Manager to lead field execution for an Oilfield Services project in Shreveport, LA. You will oversee installation activities, coordinate with Engineering, Quality and HSE, and ensure work progresses safely and on schedule.

The role requires a strong track record in large-scale industrial projects, 20 years of construction experience, and excellence in communication and leadership. Data center experience and CM/Site supervision certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 20 years of construction experience.
• Significant site leadership responsibility on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Proven capability managing multiple subcontractors and high-volume work fronts concurrently.
• Strong understanding of field execution, sequencing, and construction coordination across disciplines.
• Demonstrated record of safe, high-quality, on-time delivery in complex, fast-track environments.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• 2-5 years of data center experience.
• Professional certification in Construction Management or Site Supervision is preferred.

Insight Global is looking for a Construction Manager for an Oilfield Services company Headquartered out of Houston, Tx.

This Construction Manager, will spend the majority of their day in the field overseeing construction activities and ensuring work is progressing safely, efficiently, and according to project plans. Each day typically starts with site walks and contractor meetings to review ongoing work, discuss safety expectations, and address any issues impacting execution. Throughout the day, they'll coordinate closely with Engineering, Quality, and HSE teams to resolve technical questions, maintain compliance with project procedures, and ensure quality standards are being met.

They'll monitor contractor productivity, manpower levels, and overall progress against the project schedule, identifying risks and implementing recovery actions when needed. A key part of the role is facilitating communication between multiple contractors and disciplines working in adjacent areas to ensure seamless execution and avoid conflicts. While also maintaining strong relationships with contractor supervisors and client representatives while providing accurate updates for progress reports, forecasts, and project performance metrics. Ultimately, this role serves as the primary field leader responsible for keeping construction activities on track, on schedule, and aligned with project objectives. This position is located in Shreveport, LA.

They are not overseeing the construction of the shell of the Data Center but rather installing the plumbing, concrete, ect so the team can bring in the necessary equipment. They are doing facility prep and delivery. They are responsible for overseeing all electrical 'backbone' work. Running wiring, electrical panels, cable trays, ect.
