Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Manager to lead field execution for an Oilfield Services project in Shreveport, LA. You will oversee installation activities, coordinate with Engineering, Quality and HSE, and ensure work progresses safely and on schedule.

The role requires a strong track record in large-scale industrial projects, 20 years of construction experience, and excellence in communication and leadership. Data center experience and CM/Site supervision certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 20 years of construction experience.
• Significant site leadership responsibility on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Proven capability managing multiple subcontractors and high-volume work fronts concurrently.
• Strong understanding of field execution, sequencing, and construction coordination across disciplines.
• Demonstrated record of safe, high-quality, on-time delivery in complex, fast-track environments.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• 2-5 years of data center experience.
• Professional certification in Construction Management or Site Supervision is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities in the field, ensuring safety and progress per plans.
• Conduct site walks and contractor meetings to review work and address issues.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and HSE to resolve technical questions and maintain compliance.
• Monitor contractor productivity, manpower and progress against the schedule; implement recovery actions.
• Facilitate communication among contractors and disciplines to avoid conflicts and ensure seamless execution.
• Provide updates for progress reports, forecasts, and project metrics to client representatives.
