We're looking for a Construction Manager to oversee residential remodeling projects from construction start through completion. You'll lead field operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, and ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our clients expect.
You’ll also play an important role during pre‑construction by meeting subcontractors on‑site, reviewing project scope, and gathering subcontractor pricing to help prepare projects for a successful start.
What You’ll Do
Construction Management
- Manage multiple residential remodeling projects from construction start through completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project schedules to keep work progressing on time.
- Conduct regular job site visits to monitor quality, safety, and workmanship.
- Communicate project updates with homeowners and address questions throughout construction.
- Maintain accurate project schedules, documentation, change orders, and progress updates in JobTread.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure projects meet applicable building requirements.
- Prepare, price, and present change orders to homeowners, obtaining approvals before additional work begins.
- Ensure subcontractors follow White Maple Construction's change order procedures and that all scope changes are properly documented before work proceeds.
- Track approved change orders and communicate updates to the project team to help keep projects aligned with budget and schedule.
- Identify and resolve issues quickly to minimize delays and keep projects moving forward.
Pre‑Construction Support
- Meet subcontractors on‑site to review project scope before construction begins.
- Gather and coordinate subcontractor pricing during the estimating process.
- Collaborate with the Pre‑Construction Manager to support a smooth transition from planning into construction.
- Review project documentation to ensure each project is ready to begin.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing residential construction, remodeling, or custom home projects.
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple active projects.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with JobTread or similar construction management software.
- Experience working in residential design‑build environments.
- Knowledge of residential estimating or subcontractor bid coordination.
- Strong problem‑solving and leadership skills.

Compensation & Benefits
- $85,000-$95,000 annual salary, based on experience
- Company-provided pickup truck for jobsite travel
