Job description

About Fluidstack

We exist to make humanity more free. For most of human history, you farmed or you starved. Technology gave people more time for the things they wanted to do, instead of things they had to do. Powerful AI will be the biggest lever for human choice we've ever built – but only if models are aligned with what humanity actually wants. There are groups building AI who don't share these goals. Whoever deploys frontier compute infrastructure fastest will decide whether AI expands human freedom or shrinks it. We are singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100 GW of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them – with teams spanning hardware and software. Speed and scale are our key differentiators. Come be a part of building civilization‑scale infrastructure for AI.

How We Operate
  • Extreme ownership. Full autonomy. Own things end to end often taking on scope outside your core role without being asked to get things done.
  • Velocity. We drive everything forward as fast as possible.
  • First principles. Challenge every assumption. Zero analogy thinking, no egos, the best idea wins.
  • Love of the game. The frontier of AI is the most interesting problem of our time. We put in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward.
The Construction Team
Examples of key problems the team is working on
  • Put gigawatts in the ground, faster than anyone has. We're delivering one of the largest data center buildouts of its kind, with many sites running at once. Traditional construction management breaks at this scale, so we're building the model that replaces it.
  • Throw out traditional construction and invent how gigawatts get built. Tons of tools, layers of process, and administrative drag don't get you there. You'll strip all of that out and win by solving the real problem and beating the goal, not by managing toward it.
  • Productize the data center so we can build it a thousand times. You'll turn one‑off construction into a repeatable, modular build, where the hundredth site goes up faster and cleaner than the first. That repeatability is the only way to reach the scale we're targeting.
Role Scope
  • Own day‑to‑day site execution for greenfield and brownfield GPU data center builds, orchestrating general contractors, trades, and vendors to deliver safe, on‑schedule, on‑budget facilities at extreme power and cooling density.
  • Build, maintain, and execute integrated schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project) across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Enforce the safety program and drive a zero‑incident culture across all subcontractors.
  • Coordinate CSA and MEP trades, resolving field conflicts in real time, and verify QA/QC, submittals, RFI, and change‑order processes.
  • Track and report daily progress, spend, earned value, and resource loading, and issue recovery plans when needed.
  • Lead scopes of work for critical‑path trades and packages, and manage construction contracts from award through close‑out.
What We're Looking For
  • You've managed hyperscale, semiconductor, or mission‑critical construction projects.
  • You know CSA and MEP construction phases, procurement workflows, and cost controls deeply.
  • You build and drive integrated schedules in Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • You enforce safety hard and hold subcontractors to it.
  • You coordinate across Design, Procurement, Commissioning, and Operations and keep handoffs clean.
  • Bonus: Construction management qualification. Liquid cooling or high‑density power builds. Multi‑site international delivery.
