ServiceMaster Restoration of Wilmington is seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Restoration Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial reconstruction projects from planning through completion.

This hands-on leadership role requires managing multiple projects, coordinating subcontractors and crews, controlling costs, maintaining schedules, and delivering quality results for clients and inspectors in a disaster-restoration setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction management experience in restoration or reconstruction.
• Experience with insurance restoration and disaster recovery preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with subcontractors.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction specifications.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction safety practices.

Responsibilities

As a trusted provider of disaster restoration and reconstruction services, we are there when property owners need us most. We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Restoration Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial reconstruction projects from planning through completion.

This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced construction professional who can manage multiple projects, lead subcontractors and crews, control costs, maintain schedules, and take ownership of results.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction and restoration projects from pre-construction through final closeout
• Oversee daily jobsite operations, subcontractors, crews, and vendors
• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets
• Monitor costs, approve change orders, and track project profitability
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, applicable building codes, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Conduct jobsite meetings, inspections, and project progress reviews
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects moving and on schedule
• Coordinate materials, equipment, labor, and multiple trades for restoration and reconstruction projects
• Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate project status to appropriate stakeholders

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction management, reconstruction, project management, or construction supervision
• Experience with insurance restoration, disaster recovery, residential construction, or commercial construction preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, scopes of work, and construction specifications
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and construction safety practices
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades, projects, priorities, and fast-moving timelines
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
• OSHA, PMP, or CCM certification is a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on project requirements
