SABG is seeking a Construction Manager to support engineering for the 50 CES at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. The role requires managing full lifecycle construction projects from design coordination through field surveying and closeout.
You will prepare project requirements, schedules, and independent cost estimates, while ensuring compliance with plans, specs, and quality requirements. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and ACES is essential for success.
SABG is hiring a Construction Manager to support Engineering Support Services for the 50th Civil Engineer Squadron (50 CES) at Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB), Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Minimal to none. This position is performed on-site at Schriever Space Force Base.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, statements of work, and governmental construction regulations. Ability to write project requirement packages, cost estimates, and progress reports. Ability to effectively present project status and respond to questions from contractors, engineers, and Government personnel.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts, including cost estimating, quantity calculations, and applied algebra and geometry, to construction management situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk active construction sites, stand, talk, and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms, and to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to inspect work areas, equipment, and materials. The employee is regularly required to write and type to document inspection findings. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to visually detect defects, hazards, and non-conforming conditions.

Job duties are performed primarily on active construction sites on a military installation, with additional time in an office environment for documentation and reporting. On construction sites, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, elevated noise levels, dust, and varying outdoor weather conditions, and must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required (e.g., hard hat, safety vest, safety footwear). The noise level on active construction sites is usually moderate to high.
