SABG is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support engineering services for the 50 CES at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs. The role requires planning and design work for large construction projects, with oversight of contractor performance and safety compliance on a local on-site basis.
The candidate will coordinate with engineers, architects, and government agencies, using CAD, GIS, and modeling tools to analyze data and generate SOWs, cost estimates, and project documentation.

SABG is hiring an Electrical Engineer to support Engineering Support Services for the 50th Civil Engineer Squadron (50 CES) at Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB), Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Minimal to none. This position is performed on-site at Schriever Space Force Base.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations, electrical engineering standards, and construction specifications. Ability to write technical reports, design calculations, Statements of Work, and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from commanders, senior leaders, and project stakeholders.
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and electrical load and circuit calculations, to design and cost-estimating situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to write and type on a computer. The employee is frequently required to walk, stand, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee will periodically be required to walk active construction sites and may be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to inspect work in progress. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to visually detect defects, hazards, and non-conforming conditions.

Job duties are performed in a combination of an office environment and outdoor construction and facility environments on a military installation. When on active construction sites, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, elevated noise levels, dust, and varying outdoor weather conditions, and must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required (e.g., hard hat, safety vest, safety footwear). The noise level in the office environment is usually low to moderate and can be moderate to high on active construction sites.
