Akkodis is seeking a Capital Projects Manager/Construction Manager to lead the execution of a $36M capital expansion project within a dairy manufacturing facility. This role requires a strong background in large-scale food or dairy manufacturing projects and hands-on leadership of complex construction activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating 40-60 contractors, managing drawings and BOM, and ensuring smooth startup and commissioning with focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of capital project Management experience in Construction/manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing large capital projects valued at $20M+.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of a $36M capital expansion project within a dairy manufacturing facility.
• Coordinate 40-60 contractors and manage daily contractor activity.
• Maintain and update project drawing set and BOM.
• Coordinate drawing reviews across technical disciplines.
• Update bills of material and equipment list.

Akkodis is Seeking a Capital Projects Manager/Construction manager to lead the execution of a $36M capital expansion project within a dairy/Nutrition manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project leader with a strong background in large-scale food or dairy manufacturing projects.

Rate Range

$60/hour -$70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Key Responsibilities

• Experience managing $20M+ capital projects (this project is approximately $36M)
• Strong experience with plant construction, equipment installation, commissioning, and start-up
• Coordinate approximately 40-60 contractors
• Manage daily contractor activity, access, and orientation
• Maintain and update project drawing set
• Coordinate drawing reviews across technical disciplines
• Update bills of material and equipment list

Required Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of capital project management experience in Construction/manufacturing
• Proven experience managing large capital projects valued at $20M
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (including lifting up to 50 lbs. when required)
