Jacobs, located in Northeast Houston, TX, seeks an experienced Construction Management - Mechanical/Piping WPO to drive daily scheduling and project planning excellence. You will coordinate hygienic/mechanical scopes, supervise contractors, and ensure safety, quality, and timely turnover with owners and design teams.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in construction, strong communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities, with onsite execution leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction or Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
• At least 10 years of construction site experience.
• At least 10 years as a Project Manager or Construction manager.
• Experience with Hygienic and Mechanical systems.

Here's what you'll need

• Bachelors degree in Construction or Engineering or other; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
• At least 10 years of construction site experience
• At least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Construction manager
• Experience with Hygienic and Mechanical systems
• Experience leading contractors and Superintendents for current scope, engineering information, and document drawings/specifications for construction execution.
• Working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required.
• Ability to review and assist with Hygienic and Mechanical scopes of work from the initial Bid Phase

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Pharma experience
• Collaborating in planning, design, construction and commissioning
• Excellent communications skills
• Proficient in use of software as Power Point, Excel, Word, Bluebeam
• Familiarity with P6 Scheduling software
• Logical, technical problem solving skills
• Facilitate and coordinate walkdowns and meetings and/or reviews with owner and designers
• Attend constructability reviews
• Lead client and construction meetings.
• Safety leader (JHA's revision / daily signed off permits)
• Quality in construction
• Turn over process including TOP's, punch list and walkdowns with contractors and owners.
• OSHA 30

The base salary range for this position is $119,800.00 to $200,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
