Job summary

Perry Homes, one of the top homebuilders in Texas, offers an internship to support the Construction Management Team. You will gain hands-on experience across construction, customer service, quality control, and safety processes while attending college.

You will work at least 40 hours a week, Monday–Friday, with professional development and team collaboration. The role emphasizes communication, initiative, and reliability, plus developing relationships with homeowners and trades under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; enrolled in college.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and apply knowledge of Perry Homes construction procedures under supervision.
• Create and implement recommendations for issues with inspectors, contractors, customers, or suppliers.
• Complete projects on short notice under extreme time constraints.
• Assist in planning warranty service per company policy.
• Learn to build relationships with homeowners, trades, and sales staff.
• Inspect warranty to ensure work meets company standards.
• Inspect materials and workmanship during installation and on completion.
• Maintain inventory homes and related tasks with high quality.
• Learn monitoring of safety program and report violations to the Project Manager.
• Ensure independent contractors maintain safety standards.
• Assist Construction Management in maintaining subdivision safety records.
