Job summary

ARCO in Missouri is seeking a Summer Superintendent Intern to assist on diverse projects and gain hands-on experience onsite. You will work with superintendents across commercial, industrial, and multi-family sites while learning scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project execution.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in Construction Management or Civil Engineering with a 3.0 GPA, possesses a valid driver's license, and demonstrates strong communication and work ethic.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other related degree programs.
• Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet physical demands (standing, walking, uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Work on jobsites and gain hands-on experience from expert field personnel.
• Learn on the job including creating schedules, talking to subcontractors, running a project smoothly from start to finish.
• Make a meaningful contribution to ARCO’s success, performing critical tasks in every project life cycle.
