• Convert take-offs to proposals and create bid folders.
• Engage in conversations with customers by phone and email.

Gain real-world Construction Management experience at Gribbins! Gribbins Insulation & Scaffolding is looking for someone who wants to make an impact on our company in the areas of project management and estimating while gaining a great deal of valuable experience. This intern’s time will be spent in our scaffolding division, learning all aspects of project management, including materials, safety, jobsite conditions, estimating, submittals, change orders, customer contact, and more.
This role reports directly to Matt Gerth, Evansville Area Manager
Internship Goals

• Become familiar with jobsite conditions and atmosphere
• Develop a basic understanding of our inventory of materials
• Learn and develop an understanding of our Safety Culture and its importance
• Attend various internal Sales and Project Management meetings
• Become familiar with basic estimating practices and software
• Access and download drawings and specifications for upcoming projects to bid
• Create Bid Folders and save project documents to those folders
• Basic knowledge of insulation specifications and scope of work
• Understand the scale system
• “Take off” a job
• Engage in basic conversations with customers both over the phone and through email
• Understand local jurisdictions and rates
• Convert take-offs to proposals
• Spend time with Gribbins Insulation's scaffolding project managers
• Spend time with sister companies, including Fit Tight Covers, Elite Environmental, and ProTherm Supply
• End of Summer Presentation
