Job summary

SpawGlass is offering a Construction Management Intern role in Austin, TX. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting project teams from preconstruction through closeout, reviewing plans, submittals, RFIs, and performing quantity takeoffs while aligning with safety standards.

You will learn to track schedules, document site activities, and coordinate with subcontractors as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Office and field exposure is expected.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a construction management, civil engineering, or related program.
• Basic understanding of construction processes, drawings, and terminology.
• Strong communication with field and office teams.
• Strong organizational skills with a desire to learn in fast-paced construction setting.
• Reliable, punctual, adaptable, safety-minded with strong work ethic.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; exposure to construction software is a plus.
• Willingness to work in both office and field environments.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and assist with submittals and RFIs, quantity takeoffs, schedule updates, and meeting notes.
• Support site logistics, quality control efforts, safety documentation, and coordination with subcontractors and inspectors.
• Assist with documentation and project organization, ensuring adherence to project requirements and safety standards.
• Contribute to daily site activities and cross-functional collaboration to drive successful project execution.
