Job summary

SpawGlass seeks a Construction Management Intern to gain hands-on experience on our job sites in San Antonio, TX, assisting with plans, submittals, RFIs, and coordination.

You will learn safety standards, document control, scheduling, and field-office collaboration while supporting project teams from preconstruction through closeout. This role emphasizes teamwork, eagerness to learn, and strong communication, with in-house training through SpawGlass University and office/field exposure.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a construction management, civil engineering, or related program preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with field and office teams.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); exposure to construction software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, assist with submittals and RFIs, quantity takeoffs, and schedule updates.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and inspectors; support site logistics and safety documentation.
• Support project teams from preconstruction through closeout; contribute to quality control efforts.
