Job summary

Duininck is seeking an intern for our Heavy Highway and Heavy Civil teams to gain hands-on construction knowledge while ensuring completion of activities efficiently and safely.

The internship offers a strong benefits package including a competitive pay range of $22 to $26 per hour, paid time off, housing available when applicable, lodging/meals on the road, and 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• Basic knowledge of construction practices and safety standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to read reports.

Responsibilities

• Shadow superintendents and project managers to gain field exposure.
• Assist in managing crews and scheduling, and document daily activities.
• Support safety checks and weekly progress meetings.
• Learn to interpret drawings and understand project plans.
• Gain experience with estimation processes and Bid2Win.
