Job summary

As an intern with our Heavy Highway & Heavy Civil teams, you will gain firsthand construction knowledge while ensuring that the full range of activities are completed efficiently and successfully.

This internship offers a strong benefits package and pays $22 to $26 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Full-time college/university student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or construction engineering.
• Experience with construction plans and blueprints is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret reports, manuals, and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management of overall project operations and processes.
• Assist Project Managers with technical compliance and oversight of field operations.
• Document daily and weekly progress reports and quality/quantity reporting.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Assist with project scheduling and coordination.
• Perform other duties as required.
