Job summary

Intermountain Electric, Inc. (IME) invites you to join its Construction Management Internship 2027. As an intern, you’ll gain immersive experience across early planning, preconstruction, and field execution while supporting teams on active projects and learning how major builds come together.

This program emphasizes mentorship, safety, and hands-on use of Procore, MS Project, Accubid and Change Order Pro. You’ll work alongside industry pros in the field and office; salary is $21.00–$25.00 per

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program in Construction Management or Project Management.
Ability to obtain OSHA 10 certification within first month.

Responsibilities

Shape project scope, goals, and deliverables while learning how major builds come together.
Support preconstruction analysis, bid strategies, forecasting, and resource planning.
Research pricing for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services to build cost-effective solutions.
Participate in site visits and pre-bid meetings to gather critical project details.
Collaborate with estimating team to streamline data processes and refine reporting.
Conduct site walkthroughs with safety pros to ensure high safety standards.
Gained hands-on experience with industry standard software like Procore, MS Project, Accubid and Change Order Pro.
Additional duties as assigned.
