Qualifications

• Earned master’s degree (Teaching Instructor) or doctoral degree (Teaching Assistant Professor) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated teaching capability or relevant professional experience in construction management or a closely related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in core construction management areas, with a teaching load appropriate for a teaching‑focused appointment.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve curriculum, course content, student learning outcomes, and instructional materials to ensure alignment with industry standards and accreditation requirements.
• Provide academic advising and student mentorship, including guidance on career pathways and facilitation of experiential learning opportunities such as internships, co‑ops, and industry‑sponsored projects.
• Build relationships with industry partners to support student placement opportunities and real‑world applications in teaching.
• Contribute to service at the department, college, university, and professional levels, including committees and accreditation efforts.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to foster a team‑oriented, student‑centered academic environment.
