Job summary

Qualifications

• Earned master’s degree (Teaching Instructor) or doctoral degree (Teaching Assistant Professor) in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated teaching capability or relevant professional experience in construction management or a closely related discipline.
• Five or more years of combined teaching and relevant industry experience at the project management level, preferably in the United States.
• Experience with curriculum development and continuous improvement, including alignment with accreditation standards (ACCE).
• Strong communication skills and ability to build industry partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in core construction management areas with a teaching-focused load.
• Develop, maintain, and improve curriculum, course content, student learning outcomes, and instructional materials.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship, including guidance on career pathways and internships/co-ops.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with industry partners, supporting student placement opportunities.
• Collaborate effectively with faculty to foster a team-oriented, student-centered academic environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the department’s mission.
