Job summary

DN offers a Construction Management Co-op where you will gain hands-on experience in civil engineering and construction. You will work with a mentor on real projects, learning the lifecycle of heavy-civil construction from conception to completion.

You will identify concrete suppliers, prepare pricing, develop batch mix designs with suppliers, and create AutoCAD layout drawings. Travel to project sites is possible.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering or Construction Management undergraduate program.
• Experience with CAD software (preferably AutoCAD) and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify local concrete suppliers and prepare pre-bid/post-bid pricing.
• Develop site layout drawings showing cut/fill slopes and crane positions.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and project engineers/managers.
• Assist with preparation of detailed project submittals.
• Visit construction sites during precast panel erection.
