Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant field (Civil/Structural/Architecture/Engineering Management).
• Familiarity with project scheduling software (MS Project) and BIM tools (Revit) is a plus.
• Professional Engineer license is a plus; strong communicator with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• General responsibility of the CM engineer.
• Ensure CSA design compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Own the project schedule and monitoring of resources and construction materials.
• Plan, allocate, and monitor resources and construction materials.
• Coordinate logistics and manage the construction site.
• Coordinate interfaces between construction contractors and teams.
• Manage permits and communications with authorities.
• Handle construction payments and change orders.

TSMC Arizona's Building Construction Department responsibilities will encompass code interpretation, project planning and scheduling, resource monitoring and control, interface coordination, as well as oversight on quality, safety, and security.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities include

• General responsibility of the CM engineer.
• Ensuring CSA design compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Overall control of the project schedule.
• Planning, allocation, and monitoring of resources and construction materials.
• Logistic planning and management of the construction site.
• Coordination and integration of interfaces between various construction contractors.
• Managing related permits and communicating with authorities or relevant parties on construction matters.
• Handling construction payments and change orders.
• Managing safety, quality, and security on the construction site.
• Inspecting and documenting the construction site.
• Monitoring the design progress of the design consultant and identifying potential risks based on construction schedule requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:

1. B.S. Degree in a relevant field, such as Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Engineering Management, or a related discipline.
2. Familiar with project scheduling software (Microsoft Project, etc), graphic software (AutoCAD, etc) and BIM software (Revit, etc) is a plus.
3. Highly motivated to work in new FAB construction.
4. In-depth understanding and practical experience on international building regulations and construction sequence.
5. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with team members and stakeholders.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities are necessary for successfully working under pressure.
7. Professional Engineer license is a plus.
8. Flexibility to change priorities and responsibilities to support business needs.
9. Willing to work in a clean room environment.

Language Skills

1. Fluent English is required.
2. Conversational Mandarin is a plus.
