Job summary

Bank of Marin in Novato, CA, is seeking a Portfolio Manager - Construction to join our Construction Lending team. You will underwrite and analyze moderately complex construction and CRE loan requests, evaluate repayment sources, and structure credit facilities with risk controls.

Site visits and cross‑selling bank services are expected to drive portfolio growth. Required is a Bachelor's degree and experience in construction lending or related credit analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
• Experience in construction lending or commercial real estate credit analysis.
• Ability to underwrite and analyze moderately complex construction and CRE loans.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting and Independent Analysis of loan requests.
• Underwrite and recommend construction/CRE loans for approval/decline.
• Articulate credit recommendations with standard bank formats.
• Identify repayment sources and assess credit risks.
• Support credit structures to mitigate risk and monitor draws.
