Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Litigation Attorney to join its team. This hybrid position, based in Philadelphia, offers an opportunity to work with a nationally recognized Construction Litigation practice. The attorney will represent clients involved in construction, surety, and fidelity litigation, gaining hands-on experience and subject matter expertise. Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duties:

1. Represent clients in construction, surety, and fidelity litigation matters.
2. Draft pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and other legal documents.
3. Prepare for trials, hearings, and depositions.
4. Manage cases from inception to resolution, working both independently and as part of a team.
5. Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding construction-related legal issues.
6. Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Strong experience in construction, surety, and insurance litigation is preferred.
• Proven litigation skills, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for trials.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently.

Education:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar required.
• New Jersey Bar admission is a plus.
