Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience focused on construction matters.
• Courtroom experience including depositions, motions, and trials; mediation/arbitration preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, building codes, and insurance issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of construction and casualty litigation matters.
• Handle all phases of litigation from intake to trial and appeal.
• Draft and respond to complaints, motions, and discovery requests with precision.
• Coordinate and supervise expert witnesses and depositions.
• Develop case strategy with clients and provide risk assessment and settlement options.
• Represent clients at mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with in-house and outside counsel, claims teams, and construction professionals.
• Manage case budgets, billing, timekeeping, and business development.
