Job summary

Jobot, a Denver-based litigation firm, seeks a talented Lateral Associate Attorney to join our Construction Litigation practice. This role offers exposure to complex, high-exposure cases with an experienced team serving a diverse client base in construction and insurance industries.

The ideal candidate has a JD from an accredited law school and an active Colorado Bar license (or waiver), 3–8 years of civil litigation experience, and strong writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active Colorado Bar license (or waiver).
• 3–8 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in construction, general liability, or insurance defense.
• Excellent writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• Strong client-facing communication and a track record of meeting billable requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Defend builders, developers, contractors, and insurers in construction defect and related litigation matters.
• Draft and review pleadings, briefs, and contracts with strong attention to detail.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners in a team-oriented environment.
