Qualified applicants have a JD, at least 5 years of civil litigation experience in construction matters, active state bar status, and strong research, writing, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 5 years in Civil Litigation with focus on construction litigation.
• Active membership in the state bar.
• Proven track record managing construction litigation from inception through resolution.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and meet tight deadlines.
• High ethics and integrity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and team members.
• Proficient in legal research tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of construction litigation cases, including defects, contract disputes, and delay claims.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation materials.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy.
• Provide legal guidance to clients on construction-related matters.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, mediation, and other proceedings.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and meet their legal needs.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop case strategies and ensure effective management.
• Stay updated with changes in construction-related laws and regulations.
