The Construction Lending Intern will participate in the full lending lifecycle, from underwriting to portfolio monitoring, while receiving mentorship from experienced professionals.

This paid internship in Dallas focuses on construction loan origination, underwriting, draws, and due diligence, providing hands-on experience and exposure to a fast-paced REIT environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Excel or similar tools through coursework or projects.
• Strong analytical mindset and willingness to learn technical tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; collaborative.
• Desire to work in Dallas, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Support underwriting of construction and bridge loans, analyzing borrower financials and budgets.
• Prepare loan packages and credit memos for Loan Committee.
• Model construction loan cash flows, reserves, and draw schedules.
