The role ensures crew engagement, maintains safety and quality standards, and coordinates daily activities across job sites. The Lead Hand supports planning, material management, and inventory control to keep projects running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of relevant industry experience.
• 2–4 years of experience overseeing a team.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of safety and quality procedures.
• Proficiency in inventory management and documentation.
• Technical knowledge of welding and pipe fitting.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
• Familiarity with construction scheduling and planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure crew engagement and adherence to safety and quality procedures.
• Coordinate daily communication and activities with pipe fitters, rig welders, and helpers.
• Assist the Superintendent in planning, preparing, and ensuring materials and deliveries are onsite.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly jobsite.
• Assist in receiving inventory and documenting equipment and material deliveries.
• Support inventory management and timely return of rental equipment.

Construction Lead Hand - Traveling Position

• Pay or shift range: $35 USD to $40 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

The Lead Hand ensures crew engagement and compliance with CIMCO safety and quality standards while coordinating daily activities and maintaining an organized jobsite. This role supports planning, material management, and inventory control to keep projects running efficiently and safely.
