Job summary

CIMCO Refrigeration Inc. seeks a Construction Project Lead to drive complex builds from concept to completion in the United States. You will coordinate with Sales, Engineering, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver on time and on budget, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include cost tracking, progress reporting, and leading pre-job hazard assessments. The role requires collaboration across teams and strong organizational skills to ensure successful project

Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in construction or project coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across phases.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating with subcontractors and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Review project drawings and specifications with Sales and Engineering to define scope, plan construction methods, and develop installation cost estimates including labor, supervision, and field support.
  • Manage communication and coordination with all project stakeholders to ensure projects progress as planned.
  • Coordinate manpower, material handling, safety planning, site purchasing, and equipment rentals to support project execution.
  • Monitor and control costs associated with assigned projects to ensure alignment with estimates and budgets.
  • Prepare project schedules, status updates, and manpower reports based on site conditions, equipment delivery timelines, and overall project progress.
  • Conduct mandatory pre-job meetings with site supervisors and clients, focusing on hazard assessments and the protection of customer property.

  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; MS Project experience preferred.
  • Basic financial tracking, budgeting, and forecasting experience preferred.
