Thalle Construction Company Co., Inc. is currently seeking experienced and motivated candidates for multiple Construction Laborer/Operator positions at our Orlando, FL project. The role involves assisting with material handling, site clean-up, and basic formwork and equipment support.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload and carry materials at construction sites.
• Clean up site from debris and discarded material.
• Ability to erect concrete forms and scaffolding preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to mix and Pour Concrete and Asphalt preferred but not mandatory.
• Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment.
• Signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance.
• Must be willing to complete manual labor.
• Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators, and tampers.
• Conduct work with 100% integrity and professionalism.
• Experience placing concrete preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
• Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination, quick reaction times.
• Able to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots.
• Able to walk moderate distances to reach work area up to 1/2 mile
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
• Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment drug screen
