Job summary

E-Z Bel Construction, LLC is seeking a Utility Laborer to support construction crews in outdoor work across Texas. You will perform excavation, trenching, concrete tasks, and material handling while using hand tools, small power tools, and light equipment under direction.

Physical stamina and strict safety adherence are essential for success. You will read measurements, set up tools, assist with layout and traffic control, and help maintain a clean, safe jobsite.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in construction.
• Ability to read tape measures, levels, and basic layout tools.
• Familiarity with common construction tools and small power equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic understanding of safety practices, including PPE use, traffic control awareness, and tool inspections.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to follow directions and learn new skills quickly.

Responsibilities

• Read tape measurements and identify dimensions for layout tasks.
• Set up and operate small tools and equipment with safety guards in place.
• Use hand tools to complete trenching, concrete, and layout tasks.
• Assist with material handling and staging safely.
• Support signage and traffic control devices as instructed.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work zone and report hazards promptly.
