Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. is seeking a Laborer-Construction to support field crews across our PA operations. You will perform construction labor tasks, learn safety procedures, and assist with blasting site activities under supervision.

A strong work ethic and ability to lift heavy loads are essential. Starting pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour with a weekly $150 travel allowance; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass a criminal background check for ATF.
• Experience as a construction laborer is helpful.
• Willing to learn and develop higher-level skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety procedures and policies.
• Submit weekly time cards accurately.
• Learn safety aspects of working on construction sites and around explosives.
• Take direction and perform laboring activities as instructed.
• Work unsupervised when required.
• Load and unload explosives from trucks.
• Carry stemming material to blast holes.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Participate in safety meetings and job briefings.
• Assist Foreman and crew as needed.
