Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. seeks a Laborer-Construction to join our field teams across Pennsylvania, including Carlisle. You will support blasting and drilling operations, learn safety procedures, and perform labor tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass criminal background check for ATF.
• Experience with construction laborer is helpful but not required.
• Ability to learn and develop skills for higher level tasks.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety procedures and policies.
• Submit weekly time cards and related records to Blaster/Foreman.
• Learn safety aspects of working construction sites near explosives.
• Perform construction laboring activities and follow directions.
• Work unsupervised occasionally.
• Pumps blast holes dry and loads explosives.
• Carry stemming stone, load/unload materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site.
• Attend daily safety meetings and foreman meetings.
