Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc is hiring a Laborer-Construction to work on job sites along the east coast. You will follow safety procedures, assist drilling and blasting crews, and perform general laboring tasks as directed. This role requires physical effort and the ability to travel for training.

Qualifications

• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass criminal background check for ATF.
• Willing to travel to northern divisions for 6-8 weeks for training (paid).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company safety procedures and policies.
• Submit weekly records to Blaster/Foreman: accurate and signed time card.
• Learn safety aspects of construction sites and explosives.
• Perform construction laboring activities and follow directions.
• Load/unload explosives from trucks and carry stemming stone.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Attend safety and job meetings as required.
