Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc is hiring a Laborer-Construction to support field operations along the east coast. You will follow safety procedures, learn blasting and drilling basics, and assist with daily tasks on site. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour plus a $150/week travel allowance; overtime and pay increases come with training and performance milestones. Qualifications

• Must be safety-minded and able to work in varying weather environments.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical & drug screen.
• Criminal background check for ATF required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company safety procedures and policies.
• Submit weekly records to Blaster/Foreman: accurate and signed time card.
• Learn safety aspects of construction sites and explosives.
• Perform construction laboring activities and take direction.
• Work unsupervised occasionally.
• Load/unload explosives from truck; carry stemming stone to blast holes.
• Maintain clean and organized job site; participate in safety meetings.
