Hoar Construction is seeking a Laborer to support craft workers on commercial or industrial sites in Auburn, Alabama. You will help load materials, use hand and power tools, and keep work areas clean and safe.

This role requires 6 months of experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and strong English communication. Outdoor work, varying weather, and travel between sites are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience as a commercial or industrial laborer.
• Experience operating required hand and power tools.
• English reading, writing and verbal communication required; Spanish a plus.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, or identify materials, machinery, or tools and distribute them to the right locations; install or remove hardware.
• Dig trenches or backfill excavations and grade earth per specifications.
• Operate hand or power tools and use surveying/measuring equipment.
• If certified, operate heavy equipment such as backhoe or bobcat.
• Assist in erecting or dismantling scaffolding and temporary structures.
• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
