Job summary

Hoar Construction, LLC is seeking a Laborer to support craft workers on commercial and industrial construction sites. You will load and unload materials, operate basic hand and power tools, and help prepare work areas on outdoor sites across various weather conditions.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and efficient site preparation, with a focus on meeting project needs and maintaining productive work areas. English communication is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience as a commercial or industrial laborer.
• Experience operating hand and power tools.
• Strong English communication; Spanish is a plus.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing and returning them to the appropriate locations; install or remove signage, railings, or other hardware.
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or level earth to grade specs using tools.
• Operate hand or power tools such as air hammers, cement mixers, or survey equipment.
• If certified, operate heavy equipment such as backhoe or bobcat.
• Assist in erecting or dismantling scaffolding, shoring, or temporary structures.
• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
