Job summary

Hoar is seeking a Laborer to assist craft workers on commercial or industrial construction sites. You will handle hand and power tools, help prepare work areas, and support safety practices across various tasks.

Requirements include at least 6 months of construction labor experience, ability to read and communicate in English (Spanish a plus), and a high school diploma or GED. Work is outdoors and may involve travel between sites.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in commercial or industrial construction labor
• Experience operating required hand and power tools
• English reading, writing and verbal communication required; Spanish a plus
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools; install or remove signage, railings, or hardware
• Dig ditches or trenches and level earth to grade specifications
• Operate hand or power tools such as air hammers, cement mixers, surveying equipment
• If certified, operate heavy equipment such as backhoe or bobcat
• Assist in erecting or dismantling scaffolding and temporary structures
• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards
