Job summary

Garney is hiring a Laborer in Greenville, SC to support the crew in daily construction tasks and learn essential skills for a career in the trades. The role is entry-level and offers weekly pay starting at $20 per hour, with overtime opportunities and industry-leading benefits.

The ideal candidate is hardworking, able to stay on their feet all day, and comfortable using basic tools such as tape measures, hammers, tool belts, and lineman pliers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on their feet for an entire day.
• Must be willing to complete OSHA 10 (provided by Garney).
• Must be willing to complete “Fall Protection Certification” (provided by Garney).
• Must be willing to work overtime.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to travel for work.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the crew with daily tasks using various techniques and equipment.
• Maintain and operate pneumatic and electrical tools (concrete vibrators, compactors, saws, jackhammers, trenchers).
• Lift, carry, and place building materials, tools, and supplies.
• Join, wrap, seal, and bedding sections of underground pipe and penetrations.
