Job summary

Garney Construction in Missouri is seeking an entry-level Laborer to assist the crew with daily tasks and learn essential construction skills. You will handle tools, lift materials, and assist with mixing and placing concrete, asphalt, and other materials.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on their feet for an entire day.
• Must be willing to complete OSHA 10 (provided by Garney).
• Must be willing to complete Fall Protection Certification (provided by Garney).
• Must be willing to work overtime.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew with daily tasks using a variety of techniques and equipment.
• Maintain and operate pneumatic and electrical tools (concrete vibrators, compactors, saws, jackhammers).
• Lift, carry, and hold building materials, tools, and supplies.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel, and other materials with hand tools.
