Job summary

Garney is seeking an entry-level Laborer in Greenville, SC to assist the crew with daily tasks and learn essential construction skills. Starting pay is $20 per hour with weekly pay and overtime opportunities.

You will operate and maintain various tools, carry materials, and help install underground pipe. OSHA 10 and Fall Protection certifications are provided by Garney, with travel and field duties expected as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on their feet for an entire day.
• Must be willing to complete OSHA 10 (provided by Garney).
• Must be willing to complete “Fall Protection Certification” (provided by Garney).
• Must be willing to work overtime.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to travel for work.

Responsibilities

• Assist the crew with daily tasks using a variety of methods and equipment.
• Operate pneumatic and electrical tools such as concrete vibrators, compactors, saws, and jackhammers.
• Maneuver building materials, tools, and supplies on site.
• Join, wrap, seal, and bed underground pipe and penetrations.
