Garney Construction is seeking a Laborer to support field crews in Savannah, GA. This entry-level role focuses on assisting with daily tasks and learning essential construction skills on the job. You will learn to operate basic tools and work safely in a dynamic site environment.

Starting pay is highly competitive at $20 per hour with weekly pay, overtime potential, and strong benefits. Garney provides training such as OSHA 10 and fall protection.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on their feet for an entire day.
• Must be willing to complete OSHA 10 (provided by Garney).
• Must be willing to complete Fall Protection Certification (provided by Garney).
• Must be willing to work overtime.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew with daily tasks using various techniques and equipment.
• Operate pneumatic and electrical tools such as vibrators, compactors, saws, jackhammers.
• Lift, carry and place building materials, tools and supplies.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel and other materials with hand tools.
