Job summary

MasTec is seeking a Construction Laborer to assist skilled craft workers on jobsites, maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area, and support overall project progress. You will perform tasks such as signaling equipment, mixing concrete, finishing surfaces, moving materials, and performing general site duties.

Some travel to different jobsites on short notice may be required. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 6–12 months in construction, and a willingness to follow safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with 6–12 months construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Willingness to travel to different jobsites on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Signal operators to load, unload, and move machinery as needed.
• Level earth to grade specifications using hand tools.
• Mix concrete or grout and finish surfaces with trowel or float.
• Assist with assembling/mechanically joining parts and demolition work.
• Perform site cleanup and maintain tools in good condition.
