Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking a construction laborer to perform hands-on tasks at building, highway, and heavy construction sites. The role involves digging, lifting, and operating basic tools while strictly following safety policies.

Travel to project sites may be required, with duties rotating as projects progress. The job requires 0-6 months of related experience, the ability to read safety rules, and the stamina to work up to 12-hour shifts in varying weather.

Qualifications

• 0-6 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Must have physical stamina for long shifts and outdoor conditions.
• Able to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a field crew.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all company and safety policies.
• Dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel with hand tools.
• Lift, carry, and place building materials and supplies.
• Clean tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Mix and place concrete and other materials with hand tools.
• Join, wrap and seal pipe sections as needed.
• Demonstrate safe work habits and maintain appearance on site.
