Hagar Enterprises is actively seeking a Laborer for our family-owned excavation and paving company in Damariscotta, Maine. The role supports daily operations, with entry-level to skilled opportunities and a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads.
• Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team and follow supervisors' instructions.
• Willingness to learn and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate and care for construction equipment, tools and machines.
• Operate heavy equipment (Excavators, Loaders, Paving roller).
• Site preparation and clean-up.
• Shoveling, raking, operating a wheelbarrow.
• Install asphalt, gravel, or other materials.
• Operate basic equipment such as plate compactors and hand tools.
• Transport heavy objects as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
