Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is hiring a Laborer in Baytown to support construction and paving projects. You will perform a variety of tasks on-site, assisting crew members and handling materials with a strong emphasis on safety.

We value reliability, teamwork, and physical stamina. Candidates must be 18+, pass pre-employment checks, and be willing to work nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Prior related experience in the construction field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Follow OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures.
• Assist crew with duties such as shoveling, raking, and moving materials.
• Signal operators to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
• Follow Foreman directions for daily tasks and project expectations.
• May operate small power tools when required.
• Dig, spread, and level construction materials.
• Assist with placement and dismantling of signs and traffic control devices.
• Maintain regular attendance as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
