Job summary

Hubbard Construction Company in Orlando is seeking an entry-level Construction Laborer to support highway and site development projects. Employment involves outdoor work, following safety protocols, and assisting skilled trades throughout daily tasks.

The role requires basic understanding of construction instructions, reliability, and physical ability to perform demanding tasks in varying weather conditions. A high school diploma is preferred and a valid driver’s license is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Driver’s license (preferred).
• Must be able to understand verbal and visual instructions and communicate effectively with job site supervisors and fellow employees.

Responsibilities

• Measure distance from grade stakes, drive stakes, and stretch tight line.
• Read survey stake along highway right of way to determine grade specification for embankment.
• Level earth or asphalt to grade specifications using hand tools.
• Assist skilled workers such as carpenters, equipment operators, and concrete finishers.
• Load and unload materials such as concrete, tools, and equipment.
